S2 safety shoes always have a water resistant leather upper (WRU) part of the shoe. Besides the water resistant leather upper S2 safety shoes also have a steel or composite toecap which is tested to be able to take an impact of at least 200 Joules and a compression force of 15kN. The Brooklyn ESD has a composite toecap which protects the feet from falling objects. This safety shoe comes in a black color and is resistant against cold and heat temperatures.
